So... apparently, I'm the only person, in the whole dorm who has a birthday in october--out of 54 people, only one person has a birthday in the 10th month of the year. Despite that, we still had a hall birthday party for October-ers (or October-er), which i thought was silly, but, yeah...
Basically, everyone was like, "oh, who's birthdays are in October," and I was like, "heh, just me..."
and our RA made the most awesome rock-hard brownie known to mankind! She apologized for ruining the party with her stone-hard brownie, but we all thought it was really funny, so it was okay...
Afterwards, Christine was talking to German boy, and it was actually a really awesome sight to behold 'coz christine's about, oh, say, 5'4", and German boy's about, say, 6'1" and there was this other guy who was a little over 6 feet tall too, and the three of them were talking and christine was sandwiched between the pair... well, don't tell christine this, but she looked like a little kid following a conversation 'coz she kept turning her head back and forth between the pair, her head always angled up.
and then she went to dinner with german boy and some people. i was lame and helped clear up the room, talked to kathryn, omniscient stephen, chelsea, and Polish-Korean Nicole until i had to drag/force myself down the hall to sit down and study.
because there's a philosophy midterm of death tomorrow and i still don't know how to argue as to why determinism is compatible with free will.
anyway, the sky's clear again, so there's a plus. and, hopefully, in 24 hours' time, i won't be all clammy and blehhh--even though i will have a LOT of reading to catch up on...
